Indoor Herb Garden

I have my herbs scattered throughout my home. I think this is a great space saving way to get them organized and inexpensive too. There are endless possibilities for the pots as well.
I have more coffee cups than I can count! I might use those instead of the cans and make it a little smaller so it fits nicely on my kitchen wall.

Get some wire fencing and secure the cans to the fencing by putting two holes in the top of the can. Use a bit of wire to twist through the holes and around the fencing.  If you use coffee mugs, twist a bit of wire around the top and the bottom of the mug handle and around the fence wire. You may have to get creative to get these to stay in place. They make a great display, and will work for your herbs.  Just don't over-water plants that have no drainage.  

Here's another great way to grow herbs, or any plants you like. You can put these anywhere. If you do herbs, you can find some spot in the kitchen where they are handy to use for your cooking.
