How to Make a Pot-in-Pot Refrigerator

Also called a Zeer Pot. First introduced in November 2002 in Darfur to local farmers selling their produce at market and is now used in many third world countries to extend the life of  produce.

This only works in hot/dry climates but it's hard to believe that on a dry 90 degree day this cooler will keep a temperature of 55 degrees without the use electricity! This makes it great for power outages, picnics camping, etc.

All you need is a couple clay pots, some sand, a towel and a cork or something to plug the holes up on the bottom of the pots.  Click on the link below for full instructions.
