Find a piece of log that works for you. Then just drill or cut out a hole in the top of it that will be big enough to hold the vase you want to use in it. It could even be a mason jar, or re-purpose a plastic container. Just dig the hole out deep enough. Use any fresh flowers or foliage you love.
