What is Quinoa and Recipe Books

"Twenty years ago the Quinoa Corporation re-introduced Quinoa (pronounced keen-wa) to the world." (Quote from my box of Quinoa).  Quinoa was so important to the Inca culture that they called it "Mother Grain".

Quinoa is called a super-grain, but it is actually a seed. You can cook it like you would any grain. It has a wonderful nutty flavor, and can be used for many recipes.

Quinoa is wonderful for those following a wheat free/ gluten free diet. Therefore, it is a perfect high protein source for vegetarians, vegans, everyone!
