Cookies In A Jar ~recipe

Do you have someone on your Christmas list that you just can't think of a gift for?  Why not give him/her some cookies in a jar?  I have made these up before to sell at local bazaars, and they went over big!  So easy to do, and if you know what the recipient's favorite cookie is, you can put the mix into a jar. Remember to label it and put baking instructions on it too. 
You can add a ribbon and bow as in this photo, or you can take some Christmas fabric, cut it in a circle (use pinking shears or other decorative scissors)  that will be big enough so that it covers the lid and hangs down as far as you want it to when you screw the ring on over it. That makes a very festive presentation too.
