Activated Charcoal Uses

Activated charcoal should always be in your first aid kit. Doctors still use it today for poisoning and overdosing. There are many benefits to taking this internally.  
Charcoal can also draw toxins through the skin so it can be used externally with a simple poultice. It's the best thing I have found for bee stings. It's a great deodorizer and is fantastic for your gardens and don't forget that your pets can benefit as well.

Warning! Activated charcoal should never be taken within two hours of any medication or supplement as it will absorb the medicine and render it ineffective!
