Santa Bread - Recipe

Do we want to eat it or display it?  I think this would be a great thing to take to a holiday party. I wouldn't call it easy to make but it's not difficult either. A Taste of Home does a really good job with step-by-step instructions.

Tips:
  1. Do the clear egg wash first, then go over the areas with the colored egg wash. This will prevent the color from running.
  2. Cut the strips for the beard small. This will make it more manageable and life like.
  3. Define the cheek bones a little and lightly brush with the red egg wash for a rosier look.
  4. keep an eye on it while baking. It tends to go from golden to very dark quickly, making the color hard to see.
