Tips:
- Do the clear egg wash first, then go over the areas with the colored egg wash. This will prevent the color from running.
- Cut the strips for the beard small. This will make it more manageable and life like.
- Define the cheek bones a little and lightly brush with the red egg wash for a rosier look.
- keep an eye on it while baking. It tends to go from golden to very dark quickly, making the color hard to see.
