How To Submit an Article

• Email your article to ARefreshingHome@gmail.com
• Include Pictures, videos, etc that you want included in your article.
• Include the link to your site (where readers can view your other articles or services).

Note: We don't want your article to be full of self-promoting material. We allow up to two links in your byline. If we feel your links point to inappropriate content we may not allow them.

Topics

We’re open to posts on things pertaining to improving your home or lifestyle in general. Our blog is read by a variety of people such gardeners, homeowners, crafters, DIY'ers, preppers to name a few.
Posts that tend to get the most attention from our readers are tips, how-to posts, and interesting and informative lists that they can easily be read. We’re always looking for product reviews and posts that point out new or lost technologies.

Please keep content PG, family friendly.

Images

• We love eye catching photos. Most of our social media sites are visual so a good photo will pull in readers.
• You must have permission to use an image, or use one where there is no copyright issue. Proper credit for your images is required.

NOTE: If you aren’t able to find an image it doesn't mean you will be rejected. We may be able to add a photo for you

Length

Posts can be any length as long as they convey the message. We do recommend you have a minimum of 350 words. Keep in mind that posts that are too long can lose a readers interest, but if well written, we have no limit on the min or max length of a post.

Editing

We often edit posts submitted to Refreshing Home by our contributors and guest bloggers. We’re not going to rewrite your article, but may make grammatical changes, minor edits, title changes, photo changes, and other changes to fit our format. Don’t take it personally. If your blog isn't what we are looking for, we will return it to you and say so. If there is room for improvement, we’ll let you know and suggest how to do so.

Exclusivity & Copyright

In submitting a post to Refreshing Home, we’re assuming that the post you’re writing is exclusively for use on our site. All articles are to be used once and only once. You may not reproduce the article on your own blog, newsletter, or any other websites. Any use of the article, once it is posted to Refreshing Home, must be done with the permission of BiggerPockets, Inc. It is fine to point out the article, but your readers need to read it on our site. We want our articles unique to us.
